IN-TOL TOOL & DIE

We are a well equipped tool and die machine shop that will design and manufacture most kinds of dies, tools, prototype tooling, fixtures, and jigs. We are also highly experienced in CNC milling (dies, fixtures, moulds, machine builders) and general milling / machining, including production runs of any size.

IN-TOL Tool & Die has a fully experienced and capable Engineering Department, CNC Department, and Build Department to serve you. We have 14 years combined experience in all aspects of dies, fixtures, and CNC machining, and are earning a reputation in the industry as to our turnaround, quality, and dimensional accuracy.

ENGINEERING Part of a die design showing cross sections.

Small-to-medium dies, fixtures, and assemblies are designed in-house while larger and more complicated assemblies are sub-contracted to Tonu Voitk Design Inc. IN-TOL uses the latest softwares from CadKey and Mastercam to design, make/modify surfaces and solids, and generate CNC machining toolpaths.

CNC MILL Vertical CNC Milling Machine Small production run; 2 of 108 parts for a machine builder Small, intricate one-off prototype parts

We mill complex surfaces as well as 2D shapes. We are experts in creating and/or modifying CAD data of all types using the latest softwares. With a table size of 4 feet by 2 feet and large openings on three sides of the machine's enclosure, we can mill very large workpieces in one setup and have milled even longer pieces (140 inches so far) using multiple setups; with a maximum spindle speed of 8000 RPM we achieve excellent surface finishes on a wide variety of materials (we have extensive experience machining aluminium, copper, brass, plastic, wood, plexiglass, and rubber). As well, we have done numerous production runs. 3D surfaced form station, ready to be programmed. Final form horn being CNC milled. CNC milled form blocks for stamping die.
3D and 2D aluminium punches and die blocks for a prototype die. A .016 (1/64) inch diameter ballnose cutter was used to CNC mill this swedge-trim die section. Intricate, multiple setup electronics-industry part CNC milled from solid block of aluminium.

BUILD Fixture to hold multiple raw components for gang machining. General machining to produce various details of different materials for a machine builder. Attribute checking fixture for automotive bulb shield.

Our skilled and capable trades people complement our engineering and CNC departments by conventional machining, drilling, grinding, and assembling to the highest standards. We have a lifting capacity of more than 5 tons with our electric overhead gantry crane. We have a comprehensive complement of machinery, and high quality/high accuracy measuring tools such as a granite surface table and Mitutoyo 24 inch digital height gage. Finished assembly of 'gripper' for a machine builder. Assembly of attribute checking fixtures for automotive seat rails. Progressive die to produce automotive stamping.
Small progressive die to produce an electronics-industry stamping. Bottom shoe of cut-and-carry progressive die being assembled. IN-TOL Tool & Die can handle dies as heavy as 5 tons, such as this progressive die to produce an automotive stamping.
